Fresh Install Skype on Elementary OS

Follow the steps to fresh install Skype on your Elementary OS

Check which version of Elementary OS you are using. Type the below command to check:

 lsb_release -a -u

In my case -

No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID : Ubuntu
Description     : Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
Release           : 16.04
Codename      : xenial

Following were the errors occurred during the installing process. I searched different websites to install the Skype but failed. So, don't worry about the errors just follow these commands.

Open your terminator or terminal the command line application in your Linux OS.

1. Type this command to open sources.list. After that, it'll ask for the system password. Type the password correctly as it is not visible to the eyes.

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

2. Drag the cursor below to find the following lines and uncomment them (deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu xenial partner). Save the file by using Ctrl + O button. After that, it'll ask for few commands like Append, Copy, exit options. Press M - An after saving the file.

## Uncomment the following two lines to add software from Canonical's
## 'partner' repository.
## This software is not part of Ubuntu but is offered by Canonical and the
## respective vendors as a service to Ubuntu users.
deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu xenial partner
#deb-src http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu xenial partner

You'll notice  'File Exits: Overwrite' [Y/N]  type in caps Y and then press Ctrl + X to exit.

3. Type

echo "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu trusty partner" | sudo tee - a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/canonical_partner.list

4. Type
 sudo apt-get update

5. Type
 sudo apt-get install skype

It will take around 5 to 10 to be installed.

GraphQL vs REST

GraphQL   GraphQL is an application layer server-side technology which is developed by Facebook for executing queries with existing data. GraphQL can optimize RESTful API calls. It gives a declarative way of fetching and updating your data. GraphQL helps you to load data from server to client. It enables programmers to choose the types of requests they want to make. REST REST is a software architectural style that defines a set of constraints for creating web services. It is designed specifically for working with media components, files, or hardware device. The full form of REST is Representational State Transfer. ========================================================= Here is the important difference between GraphQL and REST. DBMS ACID Properties

 1. Atomicity states that database modifications must follow an all or nothing rule 2. Consistency states that only valid data will be written to the database. If, for some reason, a transaction is executed that violates the database's consistency rules, the entire transaction will be rolled back and the database will be restored to a state consistent with those rules.  3. Isolation requires that multiple transactions occurring at the same time not impact each other's execution. For example, if Joe issues a transaction against a database at the same time that Mary issues a different transaction, both transactions should operate on the database in an isolated manner. The database should either perform Joe's entire transaction before executing Mary's or vice-versa. 4.  Durability ensures that any transaction committed to the database will not be lost. Durability is ensured through the use of database backups and transaction logs that facilitate the restoration of committe...
