This time I really feel proud to post something like I have never posted before.If the conversation starts  "Mr. Satya Nadella" comes ahead.He is the newly appointed 3rd Chief Executive Officer of  Microsoft.Likewise, our other compatriots are also working in the world's top companies as their CEOs.

This blog describes all the major and famous personalities who provide their services and strive for excellence, in an effort to make their companies shine above all.So, let us take a consecutive look from the top left corner of the above image.




#1. Mr. Satya Nadella was appointed as the CEO of giant software company, Microsoft, On 4th February 2014.A Telugu Brahmin born baby "Satya Narayana Nadella" from Hyderabad, India, attended the Hyderabad Public School in Begumpet before attaining a bachelor of engineering in Electrical and Electronics degree from Manipal Institute of Technology.Then he earned an MS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.Satya Nadella worked with Sun Microsystems, as a member of its technology staff, prior to joining Microsoft in 1992.Previously,working as Microsoft's Cloud and Enterprise group, responsible for building and running the company's computing platforms, developer tools and cloud services. Now Microsoft has become the biggest company, worth of $78 billion, to be headed by an Indian CEO. Some of the Microsoft products are Windows,Bing, Office, Skype, Xbox, Azure and Surface that are used worldwide.


#2. Mr. Sanjay Kumar Jha is the CEO of Global Foundries and was the former chairman and CEO of Motorola Mobility. Sanjay was Born in Bihar in 1963 and completed B.S. in engineering from the University of Liverpool and a Ph.D. in Electronics engineering from the University of Strathclyde.On January 7, 2014 Sanjay Jha was appointed new CEO for Global Foundries.On August 4, 2008 it was announced he would be the new CEO for the Motorola Mobile Devices business.Before joining Motorola, Sanjay Jha was COO of Qualcomm and president of Qualcomm CDMA Technologies. Jha was overlooking Corporate Research and Development and Qualcomm Flarion Technologies (QFT) in addition to his role as president of QCT, the chipset and software division of Qualcomm Incorporated as COO.Before joining Qualcomm, Jha held lead design engineering roles with Brooktree Corporation in San Diego, and Hirst Research Centre in London.

#3. Mr. Ajaypal Singh Banga is the current president and chief executive officer of MasterCard announced on July 1, 2010.Ajaypal at 50, succeeded Robert W. Selander, who had been MasterCard’s chief executive officer since March 1997.Ajaypal was born into a Sikh family in Khadki outside PuneMaharashtra in India where his father, an army officer, was posted. The family's origin is from Jalandhar in Punjab. His father is retired lieutenant-general Harbhajan Singh Banga who is a decorated army general of Indian Army. Banga grew up and schooled across India, successively in SecunderabadJalandharDelhiHyderabad and in Shimla, where he finished his schooling.He received Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Economics from St. Stephen's CollegeDelhi University and MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.Beginning his business career with Nestlé in 1981, Banga spent the next 13 years working in simple jobs spanning sales, marketing, and general management. He later joined PepsiCo and was involved in the launch of its international fast food franchises in India as the economy liberalized.

#4. Mr. Shantanu Narayen is the CEO of Adobe Systems. Prior to this post, he held the role as the President and Chief Operating Officer since 2005. He is also the President of the board of the Adobe Foundation.He grew up in Hyderabad, India, the second son of a mother who taught American literature and a father who ran a plastics company. He went to Hyderabad Public School in Hyderabad. Narayen holds a Bachelor of Science in electronics engineering from Osmania University in India, a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Science in computer science from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.On May 7, 2011, Narayen received an honorary Doctor of Applied Science degree from his alma mater, Bowling Green State University.He started his career at Apple. After Apple, Narayen served as director of desktop and collaboration products for Silicon Graphics, then co-founded Pictra Inc., a company that pioneered the concept of digital photo sharing over the Internet.Narayen joined Adobe in 1998 as a senior Vice-President of worldwide product research, was later promoted to executive vice president of worldwide products, and appointed to his current post in January 2005 at the age of 41.He also serves on the board of Dell Inc. and the advisory board of the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley.

#5. Mr. Francisco D'Souza (born 23 August 1968 ) is the CEO of Cognizant and was part of the team that founded the NASDAQ-100 company in 1994. In 2007, at the age of 38, he took over from Lakshmi Narayanan, who was promoted to Vice Chairman. Francisco is Cognizant’s CEO since January 2007 . Francisco D'Souza is among the youngest Chief Executive Officers in the software services sector.D'Souza holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of East Asia, Macau, as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh.Francisco D'Souza has more than 20 years of experience in the information technology industry, in both operational and advisory roles. Effective January 1, 2007, D'Souza was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Cognizant.D'Souza has received the following honors:In 2002 - Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist.In 2005 - The Economic Times Entrepreneur Award.In 2009 - named among "America's Best CEOs" by Institutional Investor magazine.In 2013 - named among "100 CEO Leaders in STEM" by STEMconnector.In 2013 - He recognized as the Best CEO in the Multinational Company category by Forbes India magazine as part of its 2013 Leadership Awards.

#6. Mr. Anshuman Jain (born January 7, 1963 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India) is an Indian business executive. He took over as Co-CEO of Deutsche Bank on June 1, 2012 to succeed Management Board Chairman Josef Ackermann.Jain is a member of Deutsche Bank’s Management Board and, as head of the Corporate and Investment Bank since July 2010, was globally responsible for Deutsche Bank’s corporate finance, sales and trading, and transaction banking business.Jain studied economics at University of Delhi's Shri Ram College of Commerce, earning a bachelor's degree with honors in 1983.He also holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.After having finished university, he started as an analyst in derivatives research at Kidder, Peabody & Co. (now part of UBS) where he worked from 1985 to 1988. After three years, he joined Merrill Lynch in New York where he founded and led the securities industry’s first dedicated hedge fundcoverage group.In 1995, Jain joined Deutsche Bank’s nascent markets business to set up and run a specialist unit focusing on hedge funds and institutional derivative coverage.

Mr. Arun Sarin (born: 21 October 1954; Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh, India) is an Indianborn American executive and senior adviser at the private equity firm KKR.He also serves on the board of directors of Cisco Systems, Charles Schwab and Safeway, Inc.Sarin, a naturalized American citizen and resident, received an honorary knighthood from the Queen at Buckingham Palace on 10 March 2010.Sarin was the former CEO of the telecom giant - Vodafone Group plc, serving from 2003 till 2008.Emerging markets especially Asia and Africa purchases such as that of Turkish operator Telsim, and a controlling stake in Hutchison Essar in India.Sarin graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur with a B.Tech degree in Metallurgical Engineering in 1975. In 1978 he gained a MS in Engineering and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

Mr. Vikram Shankar Pandit (born 14 January 1957,in Dhantoli locality of Nagpur, Maharashtra, India in  Brahmin marathi family),and Indian-born American banker.He is the former chief executive of Citigroup.He holds a B.S. and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, and MBA and Ph.D in Finance from Columbia Business School.He completed his schooling at the Dadar Parsee Youths Assembly High School in DadarMumbai and when he was 16 years old, moved to the United States to attend Columbia University.As an UG in 1976, he earned his B.S., electrical engineering degree in only three years. He completed his M.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1977. He then turned to business studies & finance and earned an M.B.A in 1980 followed by a PhD in finance from Columbia Business School in 1986, after publishing a thesis involving a complex financial puzzle, titled "Asset prices in a heterogeneous consumer economy".

Mr. Piyush Gupta is Chief Executive Officer and Director of DBS Group, as well as Director of DBS’ subsidiary companies, The Islamic Bank of Asia Limited and DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited.DBS is a leading financial services group in Asia, with assets of approximately USD 300 billion, and with over 250 branches across 16 markets. Headquartered and listed in Singapore, DBS is a market leader in Singapore with over four million customers and also has a growing presence in Greater China, Southeast Asia and South Asia. DBS was named “Bank of the Year, Asia” in 2012 by The Banker, and earned the Global Finance's "Safest Bank in Asia" accolade for five consecutive years, from 2009 to 2013.

#10. Mrs. Indra Krishnamurthy Nooyi (born 28 October 1955,in Madras (presently Chennai), Tamil NaduIndia) is an Indian-American business executive and the current Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo, the second largest food and beverage business in the world by net revenue.She has been ranked 10th in the list of Forbes World's 100 most powerful women.She was educated at Holy Angels Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School in Madras. She received a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from Madras Christian College in 1974 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (MBA) from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta in 1976.Beginning her career in India, Nooyi held product manager positions at Johnson & Johnson and textile firm Mettur Beardsell. She was admitted to Yale School of Management in 1978 and earned a Master's degree in Public and Private Management. While at Yale, she completed her summer internship with Booz Allen Hamilton.Graduating in 1980, Nooyi joined the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and then held strategy positions at Motorola and Asea Brown Boveri.Nooyi joined PepsiCo in 1994 and was named president and CFO in 2001.

#11.  Mr. Ivan Menezes as its CEO of a British multinational alcoholic beverage company, Diageo. It is the world's largest producer of spirits and a big producer of beer and wine, headquarters in London has the worth of $19 billion. Some of their popular products are Smirnoff, world's best selling vodka, Johnnie Walker, best selling Scotch whisky, Baileys, best selling liqueur and Guinness, best selling stout.

#12. Mr. Rakesh Kapoor (born 4 August 1958) is an Indian businessman, Chief Executive of Reckitt Benckiser plc, a UK FTSE-listed multinational consumer goods company, a major producer of health, hygiene and home products. An Anglo Dutch multinational consumer goods company, Reckitt Benckiser, has the worth of $16 billion. It is one of the biggest health, hygiene and home products. It operates in about 60 countries and its products are sold in more than 200 countries. Some of their world’s largest selling products are Dettol, Strepsils, Veet,Air Wick, Durex, Lysol and Vanish.

Mr. Ajit Jain(born July 23, 1951 Odisha,India),,educated from IIT Kharagpur and earned MBA degree from the Harvard School of Business in United States, president and Co-CEO of Berkshire Hathway worth $10 billion. According to the Forbes Global 2000 Berkshire Hathway is the ninth largest public company in the world.

#14. Mr. Sanjay Mehrotra founded SanDisk Corporation  in 1988 along with Dr. Eli Harari and Jack Yuan. Its products are sold at more than 260,000 retail locations in more than 100 countries. SanDisk became a publicly traded company on NASDAQ in November 1995. As of August 2013, its market capitalization was over US$14 billion.SanDisk designs, develops and manufactures flash memory storage solutions and software and are sold in more than 100 countries and have the total revenue of $6.2 billion. In 2012, Thomson Reuters named Sandisk as one of the Top 100 global innovators. Sanjay Mehrotra, along with being the co-founder of SanDisk, has also been its CEO since 1st January, 2011.
