Google Photos App's Locked Folder feature to non-Pixel devices.

 


Want to lock your sensitive and private pictures?


Google Photos app gets Locked Folder feature, those who don't have other android devices. Earlier it was only available for Pixel devices.


I'm using stock Android smartphone and today Google updated Google Photos app, introducing new feature to lock your sensitive and private pictures and videos as well.


Follow the steps:

  1. Update your Google Photos app from Google Play Store.
  2. You might have received a update notification recently in app
  3. Go to Library 
  4. Tap Utilities on the top
  5. There's a ORGANIZE YOUR LIBRARY option, under that you can find Locked Folder
  6. To access it you need to unlock your phone by Fingerprint or PIN Password
                    

                        Here you go  Move Items  to Locked Folder


                You can only lock/move your picture and videos present in Photos tab.


    But Hey, you don't have to worry, you'll notice an option by scrolling up your picture/video  
                                                Move to Locked Folder
